Castillo de San Marcos and Flagler College
From the water, St. Augustine unfolds in layers: Flagler’s grand silhouettes rising behind the city, the Castillo de San Marcos’s weathered coquina walls keeping watch along the shoreline, and the historic waterfront stitching it all together. It’s a view where old Florida feels especially timeless.
Saint Augustine Lighthouse

Our exclusive Fort Matanzas National Monument and Castillo de San Marcos National Monument cruise.
On this very exclusive excursion, we will leave the dock and take you to view two of Americas most historic National Monuments from a unique waterfront perspective. The Trip to Matanzas and back is about 2 hours, with an additional 1 hour to view Castillo de San Marcos.
On this trip we will pass under the Bridge of Lions, Hwy 206 draw bridge, and view the inlet to the open Atlantic Ocean. On our evening cruises you will get a great opportunity to get sunset photos of the St Augustine historic skyline and the old Spanish fort.

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument
Built in 1672 by the Spanish Army, this was the first masonry fortress constructed in the continental United States. Fun fact: It is made of solid coquna blocks!
Fort Matanzas National Monument
Built in 1740, this structure was made as a defensive watchtower with cannons to protect the larger Castillo de San Marcos from invaders from the south. This
Timing and Tides
Due to the nessecity of an incoming high tide for the Sea Love II to navigate the shallow and narrow pass into Ft Matanzas, this trips timing will adjust based on those requirements. For sunset cruises we will always conclude the trip in the Saint Augustine bay.
